This post will probably make me look entirely stupid, but please keep in mind that I have only ventured to 3 destinations in Nor Cal: a trip with family to Lake Tahoe where we drove straight there, a road trip with college roomates where we went straight to Livermore, and to SF to visit my boyfriends family. So with that in mind, please read on.
Little did I know yesterday when I was leaving the house at 3 pm that I would reach my destination 5 hours later. I had agreed two weeks earlier to King's request to go with him to San Jose for the Kanye West concert. I thought then that San Jose was pretty close to Fresno. Is 3 hours considered close? I didn't find out it's actual location until an hour out of Fresno, when I started asking 'Are we there yet?' So we ended up spending 9 hours driving for a 2 and a half hour concert. Was it worth it? All I can say is there is no one else I would rather spend driving to the freakin' Bay area for the night (!) than my dear King.
